Mechan Group strengthened in the south of the Netherlands

30 January 2019 - Niels van der Boom - 2 comments

Mechan Next, part of Mechan Groep, is going to collaborate with the company 'Harvest 4 You' from Veghel. This company sells and rents forage harvesters and combine harvesters. Mechan Next is the tractor importer's new occasion center.

Mechan Next opened its doors in Boxtel at the beginning of December. At this occasion center you will find all young used tractors that Mechan Group offers. By partnering with Harvest 4 You, it now also adds harvesters. This company, owned by Hans Bekx, will remain in Veghel.

Shredders and Samasz
Harvest 4 You has been active in the sector since 2015. Besides used machines, it is also an importer of the Polish haymaking brand Samasz. Since the end of last year, it has also been offering young used tractors (Fendt). According to Bekx, he entered into the partnership in order to be more responsive to the moving agricultural market.

Bekx mentions the rental of tractors and machines as an emerging trend for agricultural companies. By working together, a complete package can be offered. In addition to the Netherlands, the polls are also aimed at Belgium.

Abroad
The Harvest 4 You name will remain. Bekx also remains the owner and associated with the company. The used harvesters, mainly the forage harvesters, are sourced from Germany and the United Kingdom and sold worldwide. Mechan Groep also sells Fendt shredders, but the used market is still very limited.

The Mechan Groep used car center is easily accessible for the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. In addition to machines, it also has a catering facility, shop and there is an old-timer museum. You could say that it concerns the heart of the 'Abemec area', whose office is in Veghel.

The competing Agco importers have recently been in each other's way more often. For example, Abemec recently took over 3 branches in Flevoland and the Veluwe. In turn, Mechan Groep took over a dealership in South Holland at the beginning of February 2018. Both would like to see themselves as a national importer.

Dear Pete exactly,

Thank you for your message and well noted. In the text it was correct, but in the intro it had not yet changed. This has already happened.

Yours faithfully,
