The British House of Commons has again voted against British Prime Minister Theresa May's Brexit deal on Friday 29 March. That means the United Kingdom is likely to leave the European Union without a deal on Friday, April 12.
The agreement that May concluded with the European Union six months ago was voted down again on Friday 29 March; 344 members voted against, while 286 members were in favor of the deal. This means that the United Kingdom joins the European Union Friday April 12 must leave without a deal. Another option is that the country will again ask for a postponement.
Only divorce discussed
If the House of Commons had approved the deal, the United Kingdom would have had until Wednesday, May 22, to exit the European Union in an orderly manner. It should be noted that this time only the divorce was voted on, and not the full agreement.
