New law must prevent no-deal

4 April 2019 - Kimberly Bakker - 3 comments

The British House of Commons passed a bill on Wednesday 3 April to prevent a 'no-deal Brexit' on Friday 12 April. If the House of Lords also agrees, Prime Minister Theresa May's government will be forced to prevent the country from leaving the European Union without a deal.

The bill was only narrowly passed, because 313 members of the British House of Commons voted in favor and 312 voted against. If the law is passed, Prime Minister May is obliged to request a Brexit delay from the European Union if a 'no-deal Brexit' threatens.

Advice given
The British House of Commons decided earlier even if a 'no-deal' is not an option. However, that was in a vote that is interpreted as an opinion and therefore does not impose any obligations. With the vote on Wednesday, April 3, May's government will be obliged to request a longer delay in Brussels or to call off Brexit.

The British government just knows that Europe will do anything to keep up with them. And the idiots of the eu parliament fall for it too.

There will be no deal before April 12. Eu will then be standing in front of the block. Will the UK be expelled or not? Advantage: do not turn off trade continues to run "normally" disadvantage: May 27 you will get European elections in which the proportion of non-eu-minded MPs will rise very sharply. This trend is already underway and will be further strengthened. Current rulers will play the rutte game, the only question is when this will come back like a boomerang. I'm also very curious what the Dutch voter will vote for, if forum continues to grow, Rutte will be lame; if he wasn't already. With forum he loses d66 with green left he loses many vvd voters. I wonder how he manages to get out of the hammer and anvil this time. Power of d66 is over and out.
