Agricultural vehicles in the Netherlands that can travel 40 kilometers per hour or faster are required to undergo an APK inspection from this autumn. In addition to the registration obligation with the RDW, the tractors must also have a registration plate from that moment on.
The above will be made by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management on Friday 5 April known† Minister Cora van Nieuwenhuizen's proposal on an amendment to the Road Traffic Act has been approved by the Council of Ministers. Maximum speed increased
The introduction of the MOT obligation has been combined with an increase in the maximum speed for agricultural vehicles. The maximum speed goes from 25 kilometers per hour to 40 kilometers per hour. This only applies if the construction of these vehicles allows it.
