Financial boss of ForFarmers resigns

June 12, 2019 - Eric de Lijster

Arnout Traas, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and a member of the board of directors of ForFarmers, is stepping down. Traas has been at the financial helm for almost 8 years and has, among other things, supervised the IPO of the feed company.

According to the statement of ForFarmers, the departure is his own choice. Traas has decided not to stand for re-election as CFO for the General Meeting of Shareholders on April 24, 2020. His current term of office ends on that date. Traas could have run for re-election.

"I have decided not to run for re-election so that I can focus on other activities (such as supervisory duties)," Traas said in a statement. ForFarmers therefore still has some time to look for a successor. "That search will start shortly", says Yoram Knoop, the CEO of ForFarmers.
