Nitrogen claim demands clarification from RIVM

5 November 2019 - Redactie Boerenbusiness - 9 comments

Lawyers speaking on behalf of the 'Nitrogen claim' organization request the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) to make the AERIUS model fully public. This model offers experts the opportunity to check whether the calculations on nitrogen deposition are correct.

RIVM launched the so-called AERIUS model last month. The nitrogen deposition in the Netherlands can be calculated on the basis of this model. Despite the fact that much of this model's data is publicly available, that is not the case for the part that actually deals with the calculation: the OPS.

Calculation core not public
"The data entered into AERIUS are forwarded to a 'secret environment', where the actual calculation of the nitrogen deposition takes place. The results are then made publicly available. The OPS contains the so-called 'calculation core' and is therefore the most important part of the model," several experts report. They now want RIVM to make this 'secret part' public.

According to Nitrogen claim it cannot be investigated in this way whether the model is suitable for calculating nitrogen deposition in the Netherlands. This is because it is not possible to check whether the principles of the OPS deposition model are being followed. Minister Carola Schouten (Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality) previously expressed herself on this issue and wants RIVM to be transparent.

If RIVM does do this, the fairy tale will be over with the so-called nitrogen problem.

It takes time, they are busy changing certain research results or omitting passages, that is secretly swept under the rug

Lower the max speed to build? Was that an episode of banana split? Also in this calculation one goes wrong because one forgets that the motor is switched on for a shorter time at the same distance.

Two completely different nitrogen sources that have now become interchangeable purely for the idea of enabling external metering.!!!!

The crazy people are really in The Hague and I keep saying, there is much more behind it!!!!

The billions of subsidies for biomass are flying out the door, but there is no money for good education and health care!!

We are spending another 4 billion on additional JFS aircraft. So that will be 16 billion, then we will beg whether we can participate in a mission, we will then drop bombs under NATO leadership on a target determined by NATO, then there will be victims and we will go with a fund of Compensate Dutch tax money, because we killed them with our planes.....

But we are still doing great with a mission!!!!

Just like in Mali and Srebrenica.......

IDIOTS!!!!

There is no nitrogen and PFAS. There is mismanagement by the government and RIVM.
STOP this nonsense.
And respect the many useful work of farmers and construction industry.
The government is destroying the Netherlands.
130 becomes 100 km on roads.
150 MPs will now be 75.
And the wages of those guests are also halved.
Electric cars are also harmful to the environment when plugged in.
In short, stop with the climate nonsense! †
Farmer and build out of the well! And NOW! †

The calculations will undoubtedly be correct, but what was the input...? Measuring stations that are above a sewer pit or next to chicken houses give a distorted picture anyway

Super nice comments from Cees, Henk, Upholsterer and others, I am SO curious about those calculations in that calculation model from RIVM, so curious. I already have to laugh when those guys show how they calculate, but it must be like the butcher used to say to the customer 'can we have an ounce more?', now RIVM also adds an ounce, unsolicited. Or is it something more.....

no Cees, that is not the intention, the corrupt mafia will never voluntarily halve, multiply only, and it all comes on our backs
