Animal feed giant De Heus has again made an acquisition in Spain. Evialis Galicia, a company that annually sells approximately 50.000 tons of compound feed, is added to the empire.
Evialis Galicia is located in Northern Spain and produces compound feed for, among others, cows, horses and rabbits. The activities of this company fit, in their own words, with those of De Heus. "We are very pleased with this acquisition. It fits in well with our ambition to further strengthen our market position in Spain," said Jean François Honoré, the general manager of De Heus Iberia.
Series of acquisitions
It is not the first time that De Heus has invested in a Spanish animal feed company. At the end of 2015, the animal feed giant strengthened its position with the acquisition of the Spanish-Portuguese compound feed company nuter† At the beginning of 2018, De Heus bought the Spanish family business Piensos Unzue us.
