Agractie Nederland is furious at the Public Prosecution Service (OM) and in special area officer Linda Bregman. According to her, the Public Prosecution Service failed by barely taking action against the tractors on the highways during the large farmers' actions last autumn. Bregman speaks of 'threatening and intimidating' farmers, in which a lot of 'alcohol was also involved'.
The area officer did the statements in the staff magazine Opportuun† According to Agractie Nederland, the Public Prosecution Service is trying to wipe their streets clean with incorrect reporting at the expense of the farmers. The organization of initiator Bart Kemp describes in a statement that during the first large farmers' protest on 1 October, the law enforcement officers themselves sent the farmers onto the highway.
"We have always communicated that the highway should not be used by tractors, but everywhere in the country, columns of tractors were led directly onto the highway by police officers from local forces, regularly waved goodbye by the local mayor and aldermen," says Agractie. The organization claims to have been in constant contact with the police and various mayors.
No arrests
More than 5.000 tractors and more than 20.000 farmers were involved in the largest campaigns, Agractie reports. "With the exception of a single incident, there have been no violations and arrests and participants in the mass demonstrations adhered to the instructions of the police. There was also no sign of alcohol consumption at most of the demonstrations, let alone 'a lot'."
Agractie Nederland says it is surprised that the triangle (local government, police and justice, ed.) in The Hague had not arranged their affairs on 1 October, had insufficient police officers and shuttle buses ready on the beach at Scheveningen, and allowed tractors to continue driving. .

Shooting geese is not going to happen to him in this D66/Green Left country. My point is therefore that the nitrogen discussion can be closed immediately. Due to the presence of the geese, we farmers will never meet the standard. All possible measures will prove to be insufficient thanks to the goose. There is of course no nitrogen problem at all, see Nordrhein-Westfalen. Just skip some Natura park areas and raise the standard. Where there is a will, there is a way, Minister Schouten!
