Farmers Defense Force (FDF) will launch the FarmerFriendly quality mark on November 17. The first hallmark of farmers to trade, according to the movement. "For our revenue model." There will also be a FarmerFriendly Cooperative of which agricultural entrepreneurs can become a member.
FDF reports this on its website. On November 17, the organization also has a protest announced against the Environment Act, which according to FDF 'will have enormous consequences and consequences for all Dutch citizens and farmers.' In the slipstream of this protest, FDF also formally introduces FarmerFriendly. The organization was already a while with the development of this concept busy.
With the quality mark and the cooperative, FDF aims to get a fairer share of the margin in the chain with the farmer. FarmerFriendly will become a visible quality mark for wholesalers and supermarkets, showing customers that they contribute to - as FDF describes - "a fair price, which the farmer deserves."
Membership Certificates
According to FDF, several other representatives are also taking part in the concept. The organization will announce what those are on the 17th, as will the conditions and the premium on which the extra earnings from FarmerFriendly to the agricultural entrepreneurs are based. FDF calls on farmers to register free of charge to participate in the FarmerFriendly cooperative.
This cooperative will issue membership certificates (LLBs) upon entry into force, on which the so-called equalization contribution will be paid out to the members each year. Every LLB will represent a value in the future, according to FDF.
