Dik Kruijthoff is the new chairman of the cooperative CZAV in Wemeldinge. The arable farmer from Numansdorp succeeds Johan Klompe as chairman of the Supervisory Board and the Members' Council. Klompe has been president of the buying and selling cooperative for 16 years.
This was announced by CZAV on Monday. Dik Kruijthoff (48) is a partner in the Novifarm arable farm in Numansdorp (Hoeksche Waard). In addition, he has gained extensive experience in business, including the banking sector and wholesale of fertilizers.
Johan Klompe indicated last year that he would no longer be available for a new term as chairman of the cooperative. Under his leadership, CZAV has further developed as a southwestern cooperative, which is active in Zeeland, South Holland and North Brabant. The company has also taken the step to Belgium with acquisitions and organic growth. Most recently, the supermarket chain AgriMarkt was sold to Jumbo.
Klompe will be succeeded as member of the supervisory board by Wilco Verhage (48) from Koudekerke. He is an arable farmer and livestock farmer and has gained managerial experience in, among others, the members' council of CZAV, Nedato and is administratively active at ZLTO.
