Dirk de Lugt (59) has been appointed as a member of the Supervisory Board of LTO Bedrijven, the commercial arm of LTO Noord, ZLTO and LLTB. De Lugt succeeds Henk van der Stelt as co-supervisor.
The shareholders' meeting of LTO Companies has approved the appointment of De Lugt on the recommendation of the Supervisory Board, the company reports in a statement. Van der Stelt was no longer eligible for re-election. The LTO holding indicates that it would like to make use of De Lugt's broad expertise and network in the agricultural sector. He is expected to contribute to strengthening the position and development of LTO Companies.
De Lugt is best known as chairman of the Board of Directors of the Cosun cooperative, but the arable farmer on Texel is also chairman of the NCR and BO Akkerbouw. He is also a supervisory director at AB Vakwerk. The holding LTO Companies includes the companies AgriPers, LTO Ledenvoordeel and LTO Arbeidskracht in property. LTO Companies has participations in LTO Insurance, Cerass, GreenlinQdata, Agri-Dataservices BioScope and NLgroen.
