ForFarmers closes factory in Belgium

22 September 2021 - Wouter Baan

ForFarmers will close the production location in Ingelmunster in Belgium next year. The production volumes are transferred to the factory in Izegem, which is being modernized.

According to ForFarmers, the merger is being done in order to be able to work more efficiently, which is an important part in the strategy of the listed animal feed group that will be rolled out in the coming years. Production locations in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands have also been closed for this reason in recent years.

The factory in Izegem will be used for the production of pig and cattle feeds. The production of poultry feeds will be housed in a production location to be determined.
