Now, the question isn't so much what a fool will pay for it, but whether you can still find a fool who wants the potatoes. Almost no one predicted that the market would turn so drastically within a year. However, a market so severely gripped by oversupply isn't sustainable. As a grower, it's always a matter of keeping your head above water. After all, there will be less potatoes from the 2025 harvest, while the bills for fertilizer, seed potatoes, and crop protection for the 2026 harvest still have to be paid.
