Potato processing in February once again shows good figures.

Based on provisional figures, the volume of potato processing amounts to 334.400 tons. Processing is 27.800 tons higher than in the same month last year (+9,07%). The multi-year average processing figure is 277.971 tonnes.
173.400 products were produced from the processed volume, resulting in a processing yield of 51,9%. Last year, that percentage was significantly higher at 56,1%. It is striking that of the processed volume, 160.200 tonnes come from imports (47,9%), compared to 36,0% in February 2016.
Over the period March 2016 to February 2017, 3.942.900 tons of potatoes were processed, compared to 3.796.600 tons in the period March 2015 to February 2016 (+3,85%).
