Biggest buyers
The largest buyers of fries are the United States, which gets almost all of its import volume from Canada. The second largest importer of fries is the United Kingdom. An important destination for the Netherlands, as the main supplier, with the Belgians in a close second place. Brazil is the largest buyer outside the EU and the US. Over the past 12 months, the Belgians and the Dutch exported approximately the same amount to the South American country, which is now a high exporter import duty imposed on 4 Western European countries. The third exporter is Germany, followed by the Americans.
