McCain invests further, now in Canada

McCain Foods has planned new investments at its Coaldale location in Alberta, Canada. This will increase production capacity by 15 percent.

The expansion will fill continued demand for McCain products and will add to the potato processor's North American supply network, the press release said.

The coming fall
The expansion should be completed by next fall. The company has 7 production sites and 2.400 employees in Canada. At the beginning of May, the group also announced that it was investing heavily in the expansion of the French fries factory in the American town of Burley.
