Processors keep up the pace
Dutch French fries bakers managed to keep up the pace in potato processing in November. Where do the processing figures come out?

Choose the subscription that suits youDutch chip bakers processed 339.100 tons of potatoes in November. However, in November 2016, 16.100 tonnes more were processed. In the period from December 2016 to November 2017, 4.035.600 tons of potatoes were processed, compared to 3.883.300 tons last year.
Processing efficiency
The processed quantity of potatoes produced 155.300 tons of pre-fried product and 29.000 tons of other products. The processing efficiency is 54,3% (last year it was 52,6%). The volume of potatoes, which comes from imports, amounts to 134.300 tons (which was 138.000 tons last year).
