More than 360.000 tons were processed in March, the majority of which were processed into chips (good for a volume of 168.000 tons). Traditionally, the figures are very high around March and it is therefore not spectacular that processors have added extra gas. Compared to March 2017, 5.000 fewer tons were processed.

From March 2017 to March 2018, almost 4 million tons of potatoes were processed. In the same period last year, approximately 57.000 more tons were processed. The import of potatoes from abroad has sometimes been higher; For example, more than 27.000 fewer tons were imported (in the period from January to March this year). The processing of potatoes over the years (up to and including March 2018).
