In addition, many applications have been submitted for re-examination, which could still influence the reduction percentage. The re-examinations will be completed before the end of the year. However, it is already clear that many seed potatoes have been lowered in class.

Much reduced
A percentage of 25% has not occurred in recent years; although many potatoes were also reduced in 2017 (17%). A total of 4,9 million tubers were examined, which means that more tubers were checked than in recent years. Despite the additional requests for re-examination, the progress of the follow-up inspection is comparable to previous years.

The NAK advises its publication recommends also considering voluntary research on lots that are intended for planting on your own company. This is due to the large number of reductions.
