Futures market recovers somewhat after dip at the beginning of the week

After the dip on Tuesday, August 13, the April 2020 futures market recovered somewhat on Wednesday, August 14.

Technically, that's a fairly logical move. This season the level of €12,50 has been tested three times, but in recent days that price level has been destroyed with a lot of thunder and violence. This created a gap (also known as a gap) between the original bottom of €3 and €12,50, although it was almost filled again on Wednesday, August 11,00.

Higher price?
However, it remains to be seen whether the market, or buyers, will feel like buying at a price above €12,50 in the coming days. The spirit is currently lacking for a while, due to the weather. The cool weather and expected rain in particular allow the potatoes to grow in this important month.

The coming period will determine the further price movements of the market. What will the potato harvest be in the EU-5? If an average potato harvest is harvested (compared to previous years), a market price between €15 and €20 is difficult to achieve. If an average potato harvest is not achieved, the bottom (with a futures market level of €11,00) would have been seen for a while.
