The NAK inspection service now conducts half of all seed potato inspections rounded. This shows that the reduction percentage remains below the 2019 level. Compared to previous years, the percentage is high. There is still a slight delay in the investigations.
The inspection service has processed more than half of all first virus samples. This also applies to the brown and ring rot examinations. Only the latter is still experiencing a delay, which the inspection service hopes to catch up in the next 2 weeks. Progress is comparable to a year earlier.
The current reduction percentage is 29,6%. This is less than a year earlier, when a percentage of 38,3% was achieved. Ultimately, 2019 amounted to 35,6%. In 2018 that was 25% and in the years before that it was (much) less. In that respect, the result this year is not very positive.

Class S has the most reductions nationally at 46,5%, followed by the pre-basic classes with 42%. The percentages are also relatively high in the South of the Netherlands: 66,3% and 53,3%. Across all classes, the first group of regions is at 36,6% and the South of the Netherlands at 32,9%. Central Netherlands scores best with 28,1%. The Wadden coast scores slightly less at 0,5%.
