The average payment price for all varieties, in all sizes, in classes A to S at Europlant amounts to €31,21 per 100 kilos. This price is based on autumn delivery and collected separately. On average, Europlant growers can add an additional €2,68 in fees paid for storage, bagging and the like.

The payment price this year is considerably lower than last year when an average of €37,07 was paid. Compared to the average seed potato price over the past 10 years, the gap is smaller. This is €32,30 on average for all classes and without reimbursements and €35,60 with reimbursements.

Europlant looks back on an eventful year characterized by great uncertainty. According to the company, a drop in demand, logistical restrictions and price increases in overseas transport were an additional obstacle last season. Through good cooperation with growers and customers, we ultimately managed to sell out most varieties, the company explains.
