Farm Frites is increasing contract prices across the board for next season. That of Fontane increases in the delivery periods week 36, 17 (April) and 26 (end of June) by €2,75, €3,90 and €3,80 per 100 kilos. For Innovator this is €3,50, €3,65 and €3,20. This gives Fontane a slightly larger plus, while on average the market values Innovator better.

Fontane and Innovator
What does it actually mean? In week 36, Farm Frites pays €12,25 per 100 kilos for Fontane. In week 17 this is €18,15 and in week 26 €20,25. For Innovator, these prices are €14,25, €19,90 and €21,65 per 100 kilos. The prices apply for 35 millimeters upwards.

Last season reduced Farm Frites the price by €0,75 for the one-year contracts. At that time, the focus was clearly on a multi-year commitment, with prices not falling. This year the focus has again been placed on a one-year contract due to the great uncertainty. Growers with a multi-year contract will receive a price increase.

Increase of €4,00
At the end of June, Innovator is even paid slightly better than Agria. The latter comes to €21,50 and increases to €17 in week 19,40. In week 38 that is €13,50. Marquis/Challenger do €12,75, €18,65 and €20,75. Compared to last year, the price increase at Challenger is €4,00.

Last year, Farm Frites increased Innovator's storage ratio. In addition, a compensation for mechanical cooling is paid from week 10 (Innovator) or week 20 (other varieties).

Harvest from the field
The harvesting season starts a week later this year, in week 28. The price for Première is €18, compared to €16,75 last year (+€1,25). That price applies to the first half of the week. The price decreases by €36 until week 12,50. This also applies to the other breeds, such as Amora, Sinora and Zorba.
