Over the past twenty years, the average processing figure was less than 300.000 tons, so 2022 more tons would be processed in December 57.000. It should be noted that the holidays were favorable (weekend), which apparently meant that the puzzle came together well in terms of work. The total processing figure for the twelve months in 2022 was just under four million tonnes, 200.000 tonnes more than for the period from January to December 2021. The current total figure is not a record: it was already in the years 2017 and 2018. total figure at four million tons. Based on how fries sales are going today and therefore the enormous hunger for raw materials (just look at the contract prices for the 2023 harvest), it can be assumed that the total figure (period of twelve months) will easily exceed four million tons in the coming months. Hatch. That is still approximately one million tons less than is processed in Belgium.
