PotatoNext, that is the name of the new table potato cooperative that will become rich in the Netherlands. In May it was announced that the table potato activities of Nedato, Agrico and Agrico subsidiary Leo de Kock will be bundled and will continue independently.
The management is led by Jan Bijleveld and Mariska Werring, both currently working as management members at Leo de Kock. The management team consists of: Daniel Hans (from Leo de Kock, logistics), Koen van Hartevelt (from Nedato, sales), Jan den Boer (from Nedato, cultivation), Francis Moerdijk (from Nedato, finance). According to the cooperative, these professionals have a wealth of experience and will use their expertise for the further development and growth of PatatoNext.
A logo has also been designed (a so-called infinity sign) that is inspired by the entire process of the potato, from planting in the ground to being served on the consumer's plate. The color palette reflects the versatility and natural origin of the potatoes. In addition, the infinity sign symbolizes cooperation and connection and the merger of Agrico, Leo de Kock and Nedato.
