Belgium sets the tone at the bottom for the contribution of the DCA EU-4 Potato Index with €16,88. Viaverda/Fiwap came with €15 to €17,50 on Tuesday, while the Belgapom remained stable on Friday with €17,50. That is usually a sign that the temporary bottom in the market has been reached. At the other end of the spectrum is the Dutch contribution with €26,63. Especially the fact that the PotatoNL Agria increased by €0,75 can be called remarkable. Growers will not care about that, by the way.

There is almost €10 between the highest and lowest input, or more than a third difference. The DCA EU-4 Potato Index this week comes out at €19,86. For the first time since week 51, the price has dropped below €20.
