The bottom of the potato market has moved down a bit further. Both Viaverda/Fiwap in Belgium and Reka in Germany set the bottom for Fontane at €15. Incidentally, the top of the market is also taking a step back. Reka set €21 for Innovator. The Netherlands is and remains a story apart within the EU-4. Last week, PotatoNL set a price of €17,50 at the bottom and €32 at the top. For the grower's feeling, it is nice that there is still a three in front, but whether that is still realistic in the current market, that is another matter.

Anyway, the DCA EU-4 Potato Index is down this week. The Index is €1 lower this week at €17,86 per 100. The biggest faller within the index is Germany and that is mainly due to the reduction of Innovator by €2. France remained the most stable last week.
