A total of 443.829 tons of fries were produced in 2024-2025. This is 0,8% less than the previous potato season. Compared to 2020-2021 and 2021-2022, production was down by over 10%.
Potato-based chip production remained at just under 54.000 tons in the first half of this year. This quantity is 12% lower than in the same period last year. The other potato products category did see a slight increase to 126.322 tons in the first six months of this year.
