Potato processor Aviko is taking a new step in the expansion of its flake factory in Gansu, China. The company announced this on LinkedIn.
In Gansu, China, Aviko has been processing potatoes for fifteen years in partnership with the Minle County government. On Monday, December 15th, Aviko and other stakeholders celebrated the next step in the ever-expanding factory.
From Gansu, potato flakes are distributed to customers throughout Asia and beyond. "This expansion strengthens our position in the region and underscores the strategic importance of Asia as a growth market," says Aviko.
The new production line will be operational at the end of 2027. "With this step, we are further developing our growth strategy and strengthening our role in the transformation of the potato industry in the region, while serving customers worldwide from Gansu."
