Winter weather shakes up arable farmers

The nights of light to moderate frost ensure that the soil is sufficiently proficient for arable farmers to get started; spreading fertilizer, reducing green manure or preparing beet land, it all happens.

With the short frost period of the past week, the mild winter is coming to an end. However, the mercury is rising slightly again this week. In the last week of January, the temperature is expected to drop a few degrees below 0 degrees Celsius again.
