Fresh carrot
Traders do report that the market is busier, mainly around Easter. Nevertheless, many of them indicate that they are worried about the demand after Easter. Germany is already supplied from Israel, Portugal and Spain. This means that the demand for Dutch carrots from that country could disappear, as fresh carrots are preferred.
De busy of organic carrots on the conventional market is still present, although it is declining slightly. The price for organic carrots this week is even slightly below the price for conventional carrots.
