Virtually no longer a market for fine carrots

The demand for fine carrots is almost over and it is expected that various parties will remain. There is still demand for coarse carrots, but virtually none of this is available anymore. The DCA quotation Peen is falling.

The quotation for B-carrot drops to €24,50 per 100 kilos. This quotation is based on a small contribution, with the price range being €21 to €28 per 100 kilos. The quotation for C-peen is €1,50 higher and amounts to €26 per 100 kilos. However, it must be noted that the trade is now mainly in the coarser B-carrots and C-carrots.

New carrot
The first new carrot is expected from Limburg next week. The price depends on the price for French carrots. The areas will also have grown for the coming season.
