The carrot market has been showing the same picture for weeks. A situation of little demand and many quality problems. The DCA Peen quotation therefore remains stable.
Rinsers indicate that they continue to suffer from poor quality carrots. That carrot is pressing on the market. Nevertheless, there are certainly very good batches of carrots that can be stored for a long time. The situation is therefore certainly not yet unfavorable for part of the market.
Due to the stable situation on the market, little changes in price levels. The DCA Quotation for B-carrot increases by €0,50 to €9 to €11 per 100 kilos, but that is only a matter of shifts in input by the trade. For C-peen, the quotation remains unchanged at €10 to €14 per 100 kilos.
