C-carrot is back on the market late in the season

The end of the carrot season is in sight. The situation on the carrot market has remained stable compared to last week. The market for the coarser C-carrots is picking up again. At what level is the DCA listing C-peen after a number of weeks without listing?

The B-carrot market was in fits and starts last week. This situation has continued into this week. There is still a demand for B carrot, especially for good quality. This one is proving increasingly difficult to find. This is also reflected in the DCA quotation for B-peen, which is increasing by an average of €0,50.

A C-peen listing has also been set again. There is some interest in C carrot due to domestic sales to peeling and cutting plants. Poor quality C-carrots also enter the feed, but at very low prices.

DCA carrot listing
The DCA listing shows a slight increase for B carrot. With a range of €16 to €25 for 100 kilos, the B-carrot has increased by €0,50. The C-peen shows a range of €12 to €20, with an average of €16 per 100 kilos.
