Result with fertigation in arable farming

15 October 2020

The climate has changed enormously in recent years. We are increasingly faced with severe drought and little or no availability of fresh water. Fertigation is a possible solution to those problems. Fertigation is a combination of watering and fertilization. The water is supplied and fertilizers are added to the water via a dosing system. It eventually ends up in the crop via a main pipe and drip hoses.

Fertigation has been applied on approximately 10 hectares of onions. Despite the
During a dry year, a large additional yield was achieved with fertigation.
