When it comes to the carrot trade, little change is visible compared to last week. It is quiet and Senegal, the most important African market, will be closed on Tuesday, December 15. Even more peace is expected, given that there is very little demand from Europe.

Quote moves sideways
The unchanged mood on the market is causing the DCA listing Peen to move sideways this week. The average price for B-carrot therefore remains at €12 per 100 kilos, with a price range of €10 to €14 per 100 kilos. The price for C-carrot remains stable this week at €13 per 100 kilos, with a price range of €12 to €14 per 100 kilos.
