The price range for >30% and >60% coarse onions of good quality is now about €32 to €35 per 100 kilos ex farm/cold warehouse. There are still some bad parties hanging above the market that have to go away soon. The market is actually waiting for prices to pick up due to increased demand from abroad.
German demand sends table potato
For organic table potatoes, the markets around us are still self-sufficient. The demand that there is currently mainly comes from Germany. Prices are mentioned of €25 per 100 kilos. Ex-farm/cold house and of good quality. The prices for waxy and crumbly are more or less the same. Here too, we have to wait for additional demand from abroad.
Calm down
The carrot market is calm at the moment. A good part of the lots are now out of custody. Prices mentioned are from €25 to €30 per 100 kilos ex farm for class I organic carrots of 50-250 grams and a head thickness of 22 to 40 millimetres.
