At the beginning of this week, there was a relatively high demand for carrots. Calling it really busy is an exaggeration, but several winders are reasonably satisfied with the volumes sold. However, good demand did not continue towards the end of the week. Orders for Poland, for example, were loaded on Tuesday and some spoolers didn't have much work to complete the rest of the week. Incidentally, there are major differences between the processors and the destinations for which they operate.

Listing does not shrink
Despite the small rebound in demand, the price remains a beacon of stability. The DCA quotation for B carrots is €6 to €10 per 100 kilos. That is unchanged from last week. The stock of good carrots hanging above the market is decreasing. On the other hand, the supply of new carrots from Italy and Spain is seeping into Northern Europe. The DCA quotation for C-peen also remains the same as last week, at €6 to €8 per 100 kilos.
