The regular work continues quite well with most flushers, but otherwise it requires pushing and pulling to get anything done. Although it does not happen automatically, there is still interest in good carrots from storage. This is partly because there is a relatively large amount of carrot in the refrigerator, which is not great. Carrots with a spot or other quality problem can no longer be disposed of before consumption. At the moment it mainly disappears into the food. This is a big laugh for the growers because it is now not unusual to even ask the grower for a contribution for the disposal of the carrot.

Stable low
The DCA Quotation for B-carrot remains unchanged compared to last week at €6 to €10 per 100 kilos. The DCA Quotation for C-carrot also remains the same at €7 per 100 kilos. Although the quotations remain the same, several traders indicate that the mood is coming under further pressure. Ultimately, the carrot has to be sold and as long as demand does not pick up, the mood will not change.
