BoerBurgerBeweging (BBB) drops slightly in the poll that Maurice de Hond published last Sunday (October 23). The party of Caroline van der Plas (photo) has 12 seats, a loss of three seats compared to last week. JA21 with party leader Joost Eerdmans, on the other hand, is on the rise in this poll.
At the beginning of July - at the height of the nitrogen crisis - BBB had sounding van De Hond even 20 seats, but the party is sinking slightly. Compared to the current number of one seat, a number of 12 seats for BBB is still a royal gain. That decline in BBB since then has mainly benefited PVV and JA21.
Both parties are now five to six seats higher than they were at the beginning of July 2022, De Hond reports. The PVV is now only one seat behind the VVD and JA21 is in third place seven seats behind the VVD. According to De Hond, this shift between BBB and PVV/JA21 seems to be related to the fact that the nitrogen emission problem appears to be less urgent for most voters than topics such as asylum seekers/migration and energy costs/inflation.
The governing parties together have 45 seats (33 loss). That is 1 less than PVV, JA21 and BBB (25 profit) together, De Hond sums up.
