Nowadays it is increasingly difficult to keep your crops healthy. Which is exactly what you as an agricultural entrepreneur are so focused on. Increasing legislation and regulations and the availability of fewer and fewer resources do not make it any easier. These are challenges that you as a grower will face in 2022 and that will require more and more attention in the future.
Organizing this fall Boerenbusiness the ASA (Agricultural Sprayer Academy) for the fifth time in collaboration with various parties from the sector. A high-quality training of six meetings, which focuses on dealing with crop protection as efficiently as possible. Attention is paid to various themes, such as spraying conditions (weather), communication with the environment, precision techniques and cap use. Developments in the field of resources and legislation and regulations are also discussed.
Practical information
Theory and practice are alternated during the course days. The topics are highlighted by means of presentations, demonstrations and discussions. There is a lot of room to learn from other participants and to build a network with growers from all over the Netherlands and Belgium. The course days are organized throughout the Netherlands in the period from the end of November 2022 to the beginning of February 2023 and there is room for twenty growers.
There are ultimately five spraying license points to be obtained. And this year too, the course has a subsidy option of up to 85% via Colland Arbeidsmarkt, where it is possible to get a refund of up to 85% of the course fee. The conditions of this grant are: listed here.
