Just like in recent weeks, the price of organic carrots continues to increase. It is clear that demand from abroad continues to increase and traders are scouring the open market. It should be noted that the volume that is still free is generally not very large. Relatively much has been processed and the average yield last season was poor in some cases.

The DCA Indicative Price is a significant step up. There is a price spread because of the quality. This brings the price to €58 to €65 per 100 kilos.

Tough market
The mood on the potato market has remained unchanged, just like in previous weeks. Growers, but also the trade, are confident that the price will hold up and that there is still room to move up this season. Quality will play a role in a few weeks. If there is a larger supply of batches of lower quality, this can negatively affect the price. The DCA Indication Price remains the same as last week at €33 to €38 per 100 kilos.

The organic onion market is largely influenced by the conventional market this season. The organic onion market had difficulty keeping up with the price of conventional onions and that is also the case now. There is not much trade at the moment, but normal work in retail continues. There are few transactions, which makes it difficult to determine a price. The DCA Indication Price remains the same at €46 to €52 per 100 kilos, immediate delivery.
