The acquisition of DCA Finance BV by ADM has been completed following the required regulatory approvals. The companies announced this today (Thursday, January 4).
ADM (Archer-Daniels-Midland Company) is a major player in the trading and processing of agricultural products. DCA Finance BV provides services for trading agricultural products on the futures markets. The current DCA Finance team will continue under the name ADM Investor Services BV. The company remains located in Lelystad. “We are excited, together with DCA, to share our expertise and solutions in the field of commodity brokerage expand, add value and provide growth opportunities to our customer base,” said Stuart Jackson, managing director at ADMIS International.
Expansion of portfolio
The acquisition will create more opportunities to trade in other commodity, currency and energy markets in addition to chip potatoes. Apart from the new name, nothing will change for DCA's existing customers. DCA Finance BV fell under the holding company DCA Groep BV. The other companies within the group including DCA Multimedia (publisher of Boerenbusiness.nl and Foodbusiness.nl) and DCA Market Intelligence (market data and market quotations) are not included in the takeover.
