The FarmPlus cooperative is distributing €1,5 million to its members. The cooperative announced this during its general meetings held at the end of last week in Goes and Wieringerwerf.
In the 2024-2025 fiscal year, FarmPlus generated a profit of €1,9 million. Of this, €1,5 million will be returned to its members. In the previous fiscal year, a profit of €2,7 million was recorded. Turnover in the past fiscal year was €586 million, which is €5,4 million less than the previous year.
Cheaper purchasing but higher operating expenses resulted in an operating profit of €5,2 million. This result is €1,7 million higher than in 2023-2024. Farmplus was created in 2024 through the merger of CZAV and CAV de Wieringermeer (CAV Agrotheek).
Integration costs are decreasing
The past fiscal year was dominated by the integration of both cooperatives. This process continues this year. This will also entail integration costs this fiscal year, but less than last year, according to FarmPlus. As the integration progresses, the number of full-time employees will decrease, the cooperative explains in its annual report.
FarmPlus is not yet prepared to make any predictions regarding sales volumes and margins for the new fiscal year. Predicting these is difficult because the weather plays a significant role, according to the statement.
