Regional stock markets are not keeping it dry for onions

In Middenmeer, the quotations for yellow seed onions of both the 30% coarse and the 60% coarse grading were adjusted downwards. The decrease in the 30% coarse sorting amounted to three quarters of euros this week, with a price of 5,00 to 6,00 euros per 100 kg. The quotation for the 60% coarse grading fell by an average of half a euro to 6,00 to 7,00 euros per 100 kg. No mood was shown this week.

The onion quotation committee in Emmeloord has left the quotation of yellow seed onions for the 30% to 60% coarse grading unchanged (5,00 to 6,50 euros per 100 kg). The quotation for the 60% coarse grading was reduced to a price range of 5,50 to 7,25 euros per 100 kg, an average decrease of 0,625 euros. The mood went from 'Quiet' to 'Bland'.

The quotation of the red onions did not change this week for either price or mood. The price for the 30% to 60% coarse grading was 13,00 to 15,00 euros per 100 kg and for the 60% coarse grading 15,00 to 17,50 euros per 100 kg. The mood was described as 'Quiet'.

The mood that accompanied the listing of organic onions this week remained dull. For the 30% to 60% coarse grading, the quotation was 45,00 to 48,00 euros per 100 kg, an average decrease of half a euro. The quotation for the 60% coarse grading remained unchanged at 48,00 to 50,00 euros per 100 kg.
