Yellow and red onion quotations are quiet this week

In Middenmeer, the onions underwent the same cosmetic adjustment, on the understanding that the 30% coarse grading remained unchanged and the 60% coarse grading increased by an average of a quarter of a euro. The price was quoted for the 30% coarse 5,00 to 6,00 euros per 100 kg and for the 60% coarse 5,50 to 7,00 euros per 100 kg. The mood was described as 'Calm', was 'Bland' last week.

The quotation of yellow seed onions in Emmeloord this week has decreased by a quarter of euros for the 30% to 60% coarse grading to 5,00 to 7,00 euros per 100 kg. The 60% coarse sorting remained unchanged at 5,50 to 7,00 euros per 100 kg compared to last week's quotation. The mood was 'Calm'.

The quotation of red onions rose by half a euro for both sizes. For the 30% to 60% coarse grading, 14,00 to 16,00 euros per 100 kg were noted. For the 60% coarse sorting, 16,00 to 19,00 euros per 100 kg. The mood was 'Calm'.

The quotation of organic onions for the 30% to 60% coarse grading decreased by an average of half a euro to 45,00 euros per 100 kg. EUR 47,00 was noted for coarse organics, an average decrease of EUR 1,00.
