Yet February 2017 is no exception. There have been several years when the stock of German onions was higher than this year. Examples of this are 2013 and 2012. Over the period 2011 to 2016, this stock averaged 71.766 tons. The measured stock is above that average at 78.748 tonnes and is higher in all states than last year.
Looking at the quantities and percentages of onions delivered this season, the following picture emerges. The percentage delivered this season (65%) is reasonably in line with the multi-year average (66%).
