Export figure on onions in week 6 takes a step back as expected

Subsequent information from previous export weeks has increased the volume by more than 20 tons. For the 2016/2017 season the counter stands at 733.774 tonnes (year-end 737.811 tonnes) and for the 2017 calendar year it stands at 127.324 tonnes. On average, 22.930 tons of onions were exported per week.

The largest buyer in week 6 was Great Britain with 2.685 tons (total season 85.729 tons). In second place is Malaysia with 2.233 tons (total season 43.948 tons), Senegal with 1.935 tons (total season 168.810 tons), Mauritania with 1.570 tons (total season 32.035 tons) and Guinea with 1.189 tons (total season 36.452 tons).
