Stress test for yellow seed onion quotations

At the regional fair in Middenmeer, the quotation for yellow seed onions for the 30 percent coarse grading remained unchanged at 5,00 to 6,00 euros per 100 kg. The quotation for the 60 percent coarse grading fell by half a euro at the bottom, bringing the quotation to 5,50 to 7,00 euros per 100 kg. The mood remained unchanged with 'calm'.

The quotations for yellow seed onions were adjusted downwards this week in Emmeloord for both coarse gradings. The 30 percent to 60 percent coarse grading was reduced by an average of one euro to 4,00 to 6,00 euros per 100 kg. The mood was expressed as 'bland'. The quotation for the 60 percent coarse grading was quoted from 5,00 to 8,00 euros per 100 kg, a reduction of half a euro. The mood around the coarse yellow onions was described as 'calm'.

The quotations for the red onions were increased for both the fine and coarse gradings, with an average of half a euro for the fine grading and one euro for the coarse grading. The prices quoted were 14,00 to 17,00 euros and 17,00 to 21,00 euros per 100 kg (30 percent to 60 percent coarse and 60 percent coarse, respectively). There was a 'prize-loving' mood.

No changes this week in the quotation of organic onions. There, the quotation for the 30 percent to 60 percent coarse grading remained at 45,00 euros and that of the 60 percent coarse at 47,00 euros per 100 kg. Here the mood was described as 'calm'.
