PPA Group managed to achieve a pool price of €2016 on week 6,47 for the 11 onion harvest. The company announced this to the participants on Friday.
The result obtained puts the average of all pool prices of the past 20 years at €11,66. The five-year average is €13,28. Since the pool was founded in 1996, the pool has been spreading sales throughout the year. Taking market developments into account by responding to them when they occur, without resorting to speculation.

“We can therefore say that when growers register with us, they can be confident that they will actually receive the average price. Both the pool committee and the pool growers are satisfied with the prize presented,” PPA Group reports on its website website.
